Scarizona Haunted House Rules and FAQ

In 2026, tickets started at $19.95 plus fees. Early Bird tickets checked in at 6:45 PM and were limited each night. A Fast Pass was $10 extra and cut time in line by roughly a third. VIP was $75 plus fees: skip the lines, go straight to the door, take pictures inside the show, and get 10% off concessions and merch. All tickets were nonrefundable. The 2026 season has ended, and next season's prices will be announced here.

Parking is free. Scarizona Scaregrounds parks guests in an outdoor gravel lot at 1901 N. Alma School Road in Mesa, AZ 85201. Wear closed-toe shoes for the walk in, and leave large bags secured in your vehicle. Alcohol is prohibited in the parking areas.

Scarizona does not publish a set run time. In 2026, a ticket was a timed-entry slot chosen at checkout, which paced the lines and spaced groups through the night, and guests arrived 15 minutes before their ticket time. Yes. Scarizona Scaregrounds is an outdoor haunted attraction. You may encounter dirt, gravel, uneven ground, darkness, and other natural outdoor conditions. The desert is part of the show.

A little rain will not scare us away. Scarizona may remain open during light rain, but severe weather could cause delays or closures. Check our website and social media before heading out.

That is the point. Expect darkness, loud noises, flashing lights, fog, tight spaces, frightening characters, and plenty of unexpected scares.

Scarizona is designed to be intense and is not recommended for guests under 12, but parents and guardians know their children best. Remember: once the scares begin, our monsters do not take babysitting breaks. The same guidance covers all three haunts, including Mayhem in Madness, which carries its own content warning.

Keep your hands off the actors, props and scenery. Costumes, face coverings, weapons, outside food and drinks, alcohol, and photography, video or flashlights inside the attractions are not allowed. Our actors will not intentionally grab or restrain you, and guests may never touch the actors, props, or scenery. Keep your hands to yourself, and the creatures will do the same.

Photos are welcome in designated areas, but photography, video recording, and flashlights are not permitted inside the haunted attractions. You will have plenty of frightening memories.

Large bags, backpacks, and oversized purses should be left at home or secured in your vehicle. All permitted bags may be subject to inspection before entry.

Costumes, costume masks, face coverings that conceal your identity, and realistic weapons are not permitted. Leave the scaring to our professional monsters.

Yes. Trained security personnel are onsite to help keep guests, employees, and creatures safe. All guests may be subject to security screening, bag checks, and metal-detector screening before entering.

No outside food or drinks are permitted onsite. Food and beverages may be available for purchase inside the Scaregrounds.

No. Alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere onsite, including the parking areas. Guests who appear intoxicated or bring alcohol onto the property may be denied entry or removed without a refund.

Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, pepper spray, and realistic-looking toy weapons, are strictly prohibited. Fireworks, drugs, laser pointers, and other dangerous or disruptive items are also not allowed.

Scarizona includes flashing lights, fog, loud noises, darkness, uneven ground, and intense scares. Guests who are pregnant or have heart, breathing, seizure, mobility, or other serious medical conditions should speak with a healthcare professional before attending. Enter if you dare, but always put your safety first.
