Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 25, 2026.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Scarizona Scaregrounds website and your admission to our haunted attraction in Mesa, Arizona. By using this website or entering our event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend the event.

Tickets and Admission

  • Tickets are sold through our ticketing platform. Every ticket is for a single timed-entry slot on the date you select.
  • Tickets are nonrefundable, including when a guest decides not to enter or leaves before completing an attraction.
  • Timed entry paces the lines. Arrive within your window with your ticket ready.
  • A Fast Pass, when offered, is sold at the front door and reduces wait times. It is not a front-of-line ticket, and each member of your party needs their own.
  • Parking is free and included with your ticket.
  • Event dates, hours, and attractions may change, and severe weather may cause delays or closures.

Assumption of Risk

Scarizona is an intense, outdoor haunted attraction. It includes darkness, flashing and strobe lights, fog and artificial smells, loud and startling sounds, uneven ground, tight spaces, physical activity, and frightening characters and special effects. Attendance is voluntary. By entering, you accept these conditions and the inherent risks of participating.

Guests who are pregnant or who have heart, breathing, seizure, mobility, or other serious medical conditions should speak with a healthcare professional before attending. Enter if you dare, but always put your safety first.

Age Guidance

Scarizona is designed to be intense and is not recommended for guests under 12, but parents and guardians know their children best. Mayhem in Madness carries its own stricter guidance and is not recommended under 10. This is guidance, not an admission requirement.

Conduct and Event Rules

To keep every guest, staff member, and performer safe, the following rules apply. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who violates them, without a refund.

  • No touching, both directions. Our actors will not intentionally grab or restrain you, and guests may never touch the actors, props, or scenery.
  • Security screening. Trained security personnel are onsite. All guests may be subject to security screening, bag checks, and metal-detector screening before entering.
  • Bags. Large bags, backpacks, and oversized purses should be left at home or secured in your vehicle. Permitted bags may be inspected.
  • Costumes and masks. Costumes, costume masks, face coverings that conceal your identity, and realistic weapons are not permitted.
  • Prohibited items. Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, and pepper spray, along with fireworks, drugs, laser pointers, and other dangerous or disruptive items, are strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol. Alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere onsite, including the parking areas. Guests who appear intoxicated or bring alcohol onto the property may be denied entry or removed without a refund.
  • Outside food and drink. No outside food or drinks are permitted onsite. Food and beverages may be available for purchase inside.
  • Zero tolerance. We have a zero-tolerance policy for creating hazards, touching our scare actors, harassing our staff, or damaging our sets.

Photography and Recording

Photography, video recording, and flashlights are not permitted inside the haunted attractions. Photos are welcome in designated areas only. By attending, you agree that Scarizona and its representatives may photograph or record the event, and that these images may include you and may be used for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.
